Welcome Home
What to Expect
Immediately upon entering the church, you will be greeted by one of our members, happy to answer any questions you might have. Our ushers will provide any assistance you may need in getting seated. There are aids for the hearing impaired, and hymns and readings are projected for easy reading on a large format screen.
The Sanctuary
Worship service is held at 10:45 each Sunday in the sanctuary.
Style of Dress
People attend worship at FPCW in a wide variety of attire, and you will be welcome here no matter what you wear.
Worship Service
Our Sunday morning worship service starts with some gathering music and includes congregational singing and a sermon from a passage of the Bible. We also incorporate responsive readings, church life announcements, prayer, and passing of the peace. Communion is held the first Sunday of the month. Our service normally lasts an hour.
Childcare
Childcare for babies and young children is available in the lower level of the Fellowship Hall. Please meet an usher in the sanctuary and they will escort you to the nursery.
Sunday School
Adult Sunday School is held at 9:30. Joining in - even for just a class or two - can be a great way to get to know the church a bit better and learn more about Christianity. Click here for more information about Sunday School.
Refreshments Following Service
There’s a fellowship time after the worship service, and you’re invited! We gather in the Fellowship Hall for refreshments and conversation. It's a great way to meet some of the people of FPCW. On the second Sunday of each month, there is a Coverd Dish Pot Luck Luncheon, organized by the Hospitality Team. The church has some fine cooks among its members, and this is always a popular event!
