The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it.

The world and all its people belong to him.

For he laid the earth’s foundation on the seas and built it on the ocean’s depths.

Who may climb the mountain of the Lord? Who may stand in his holy place?

Only those whose hands and hearts are pure.

They alone may enter God’s presence and worship the God of Israel.

Holy God of the Universe, we come into your presence knowing

and believing you are with each one of us right now. (Stop and meditate on that for a moment!)

We give you all honor and glory and praise.

In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.

Every week we confess our sin before God and one another

because we know; “all have sinned and fall short of God’s glorious standard”.

In humility and faith, let’s confess together:

Sovereign God, we say you are King over all,

yet we fail to be loyal people under your loving governance.

We say you are All-Powerful, yet we fear the powers of this world.

We know you alone deserve to be Glorified,

yet we fail to praise you in all things, both great and small.

Forgive us O Lord, through your mercy and love.

In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.

                    - Spend a few moments in silent confession –

We can be sure of this: When we confess our sin,

God is faithful to forgive us, and remembers our sin no more!

Friends believe the Good News. In Jesus Christ, we are forgiven!

Thanks be to God. Amen.

AFFIRMATION OF FAITH, The Heidelberg Catechism, Q.128-129

What does the conclusion to the Lord’s Prayer mean?

“For the kingdom and the power and the glory are yours forever” means:
We have made all these petitions of you because, as our all-powerful king,

You are both willing and able to give us all that is good;

And because your holy name, and not we ourselves, should receive all the praise, forever.

What does that little word “Amen” express?

“Amen” means: This shall truly and surely be!

Thank the Lord for your faith family, the Church!

Reach out this week and tell someone how much you love and miss them.

The peace of Christ be with you!

SCRIPTURE & MESSAGE    “Amen!”      1 Chronicles 29:10-13          (click)

Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name.

Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil:

For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

 GOD'S TITHES & OUR OFFERINGS

Our giving is a demonstration of our love, devotion and gratitude to the Giver of all.

Generous Lord; we dedicate your tithes and our offerings

to be used for your Kingdom purposes here in this community and around the world.

In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.

(You may give on-line, mail a check to the church address, or drop it in the church mailbox).

Praise God from whom all blessings flow. Praise Him, all creatures here below.

Praise Him above ye heavenly host. Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Amen.

BENEDICTION   Jude, verses 24-25

Now unto God who is able to keep you from falling,

And to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy;

To the only wise God our Savior,

Be glory and majesty, dominion and power,

Both now, and forevermore.
