Since it began nearly eight years ago, the Crafters' Guild has distributed more than $37,000 to local charities and those in need in our community. And they have done it with dedication, laughter, many hands, and much talent. Working year 'round, this happy group of men, women and church youth turns out an impressive array of goods for two now-popular Craft Fairs each year. Wonderful displays of holiday gifts, keepsakes, home decor and collectibles, kitchen linens, handcrafted jewelry, scarves, jams, jellies and stacks of baked goods are assembled in the church's Fellowship Hall for the second and third weekends of October. Shoppers come from the tri-county area, and sales are brisk. They also sell their handiworks at the church's annual Christmas Cheer Breakfast in early December.
The Craft Guild meets Tuesday of every week at 9:30am.
